Endlich hab' ich mein Fahrrad / Finally I have my bicycle
It is mine for the year. Note the two locks. No word yet as to whether a key for the old (yellow) one exists.
My bell has a leaf design on it. Today I rang it in excess.

relying on the kindness of strangers in a strange land: you can take your bike to the local fire station to have a lock cut, if you can accoplish this with out arrousing suspision, they are usally more than happy to help, most likly they are looking for something to do. I took my bike there and they told me I come by and they would put air in my tires anytime.
woah, thanks for the tip. My tires do need air, and I'm not sure we have a pump in the apartment. We shall see.
i just got a new bike pump yesterday. feel free to come by and use it whenever.
