im a big fan of this image as well as the magical tinker toy scene below. reminds me of A Christmas Story... in german. hope you're well, kid. lurve, t
I have a friend who worked in a mulled-wine stand right by this carousel, and she told me that during the week people would come out during their lunch breaks, drink their wine with rum shots, and then take a little too much delight in riding the carousel. I feel like this fits in with your Christmas Story impression pretty well.
